    Hi Richard.

    You have a very nice image here, well composed, sharp, and with a beautiful sky. Feather detail throughout is very good, and you handled the bright light very well. The diagonal positions of the bird and wings are excellent.

    Nice overhead flight shot. Like the illuminated wings and the detail in the right wing, and no halo against the solid blue sky...good job.

    You did well with what was there but to create a truly superb overhead image strive to release the shutter when the bird is directly overhead, is flat as a pancake, and looks like the letter "T."

    The red iris here could stand to be lightened.
