It was a bit bright, but liked the expression and eyes on this cute one. ACR, CS5, toned down some highlights, lightened eyes some, and cloned out some spots.

love the eyes, they really connect with viewer, ideally would have preferred more space top and bottom...

I like this! Agree with Peter regarding some more room top and bottom. With some more post processing this image doesn't have to be bright and it can look much nicer. Happy to give it a try with your permission.

Brendan - eyes are great and I also like that you can at least see some of the body below the surface. Agree about the room above and below.

Thanks for your comments and suggestions, Peter, Ofer & Rachel. Much appreciated.
Think I'm ok with a bit more room on top & bottom, but would like to keep it fairly tight.

Ofer, by all means, I'd like to see what you come up with, and thanks for asking!

Here it is Brendan, added some canvas top and bottom and applied some levels, brightness and S/H adjustments. Working on the RAW file will make it sing...

The re-post really works much better. Sometimes it's hard for me to see the potential of image, and it is very helpful to see these before and afters.

Very nice angle and like the colors in the repost. Texture in the water as well as ripples add to the overall finished product. Like the idea of a bit more space top and bottom.

Thanks for your comments, Grant, Marina & Dumay.

Dumay, yes, in addition to the expression, I liked the curve of the wave and texture to the water in this one.
