    Hi Chad,

An amazing looking bird. Wish I had ever seen one. Very sharp, beautiful colors - especially the iridescent blue-greens, good eye contact, nice separation from the background. I think you might consider taking a bit off the bottom.

Wonderful vibrant colours. Good (not great) perch, and I love the lower 2/3 of the BG. Perhaps a bit oversharpened as posted, and I would have loved for you to have raised your camera a bit more (less room below, more above).

What a beautiful, colorful bird. Only thing I'm not crazy about is the perch, but it's not a big deal. I would even out the ulc (as viewed), especially those two odd patches. The eye and contact is great.

    Chad:

Good advice, comments above. A beautiful bird, angled nicely in the frame.

On the edge of oversharpening for my tastes as well.

Looks like you put your time in SA to good use.

    Cheers

Hey Chad, spot on with the colours, as some tend to over saturate these guys. Great to have him in the open, and I like the angle. Killer BG, and I agree, a little more space on top will work.

Colors look spot and the light looks pretty harsh but very nicely handled...I have to say it does look a touch over sharpened and would like to see a bit more space on top and less below...Great mottled BG...Im so lucky I get to see these guys everyday! Nice one Chad!

Hey Gang! Thank you so much for the comments and critique, I really do love hearing all the thoughts and Ideas, this helps so much when you go to print an image, you get to see things in so many different perspectives and you get to choose from all the feedback that you wonderful people provide.

I had another go at this one as per suggested above, I added some room to the top, took down the sharpening a tad. and yes I do like it much better with more room on top
