Stunningly sharp on the face (where it needs to be sharp). Killer raised foot with the long toes. The colors are most pleasing despite what looks like a relatively high in the sky sun. Any more room in front?

All in all fantastic in my book.

A really, really pleasing image this...I like everything about it. I would also like to see a touch more space in front if you have, but a great image nonetheless.

Excellent stuff...raised foot does full justice to those toes. sharpness, shooting angle, habitat....loved this shot. If mine, I'd play with the WB..this seems a little too warm.

Hi Arno, the eye level angle works so well here, and a good show of their large feet. I like the overall colours and sharpness, and Im fine with the comp as is.

wow!! look at those feet. No tipping over for him He navigates those lily pads with no problem.

You are very lucky to have captured this near threatened species.

    Well done, colors look great!

Thank you all for the constructive and informative comments/suggestions.
As Artie suggested I have cropped less from the left to give more canvas and as Kaustubhsuggested, adjusted WB.
    Hope this is an improvement.
    All further comments welcome

YAW. It is better by a smidge. With walking birds I love the 3X2 proportion. Do you not have any more room on the left?

Oh man, you were holding out on us! I love the image above; lots of room in the frame for the bird to go with those big toe-steps!
