    Default white rumped sandpipe-Head On

Since it was White-rumped Week I thought that I would post some more photos of some of these birds. Here is the next one...a head on shot. Comments are welcome.

I like everything about this one, exposure, low angle, dof, and the stare compliments it very nicely.

    Good job!

Lorant, terrific shot. the low angle and raised foot make it special....and the head on makes it very unique. Very good DOF.

If mine, I'd do WB adjustment.

Exposure seems dead on. Detail is super as is the low angle. I might take some off the top and move the bird into the upper 1/3rd power point.

Ditto Chad above. This one might work best dead center in the frame to emphasize that straight-ahead stare. Note that we can still see the orange base to the bill.

Super image, so crisp. Love the hint of color in the bill and of course the raised foot. I'm really in love with these birds, so beautiful and you captured it so well.

Great shooting angle and pose. Would crop a bit off the top.

Excellent low angle, fantastic stare and sharp face and beak. Raised foot adds so nicely TFS
