A few weeks ago I started following this family of ducklings and saw them go from five to two in a very short time. (A few days)
I enjoyed documenting them with my camera as they made there way out of the pond following mama of course.
They usually stick together so getting an image of one alone can be a bit of a challenge. I was happy to get a tiny wing flap from this little guy. I like how tiny the little wings are in comparison to what they will be once he/she grows up.
So today here is a whimsical image that has brought me much joy!

Too cute, especially with that tiny wingflap Nice low angle, a good vertical composiiton. Normally I would have prefered the body turned a bit more our way...but in this case the body turned slightly away gives it a look of uncertainty and shyness towards you. I like it!
Too sweet. The low perspective worked perfectly here. With the light from the left, a tad lighter on the front of the face would improve an already fine image.

Great low angle, and I like the overall colours in this. Good fluffy detail captured, and the tiny wing flap is so cute. Ive also witnessed ducklings and goslings that over days disappear - sad, but reality.
Beautiful capture of this cute little one, Noelle. Great pose, like the low angle, soft light & BG, and the sharpness to just the grass along its path is a nice touch. I witnessed some coot chicks a few weeks ago, and their tiny wing flaps just floored me. Isn't the joy and peace we get from nature photography amazing! and the ability to share it with others online is an added bonus.
Ducklings are hard to capture than what it seems at first. Very well done on this one. perfect low angle, nice soft light and good sharpness...very important for duckling shots. If mine, I'd have a tad more room below.
