I like the image very much. THe BG compliments the subject by highlighting it beautifully and the catch-light in the eye is great.
Thank you Morris for your input.

Very nice, to be a little pickey, there's maybe a tad too much sharpening and there appears to be a double catchlight on the eye. nice as presented though.
Thanks for responding Chris, I did not think it looked sharp enough after I posted.
Jack, I like this one "as is". Very nice . . .
Jack, nice color, detail, and sharp eye. I would remove one of the catchlights as mentioned. I think the sharpening is fine. I do feel that the bird is too centered vertically and would suggest a crop from the top. I don't think you need that much negative space up there. A slight head turn in your direction would have been nice. Good job, love the background!

Lovely little Sparrow, nicely captured. Background is beautiful. Sharpening looks OK to me. I'm not a fan of squarish crops, usually. I might have cropped some off both top and bottom to make something closer to a 3:2 ratio (and then cloned out the resultant unattached vertical stub of the perch). Another vote to remove the second catchlight.
Thanks everybody.
