    Default Black-troated Green Warbler

My first afternoon at Magee Marsh turned out to have been the best day (only half for me) of the whole week.
It was a mini fall out, birds everywhere. It was overcast but relatively good light.
    Thanks for looking.

Quite excellent. Sharp with a prefect EXP and a beautiful bird. Nice BKGR. Normally I would mention too much head turn but it works perfectly here to show off that black V on the breast. WTG!

Wonderful bird and I like seeing the yellow under his wing. Your background is complimentary , exposure and sharpness look right on. I think that the leaf by your name is a distraction as my eye wants to investigate it, the broken stick that he's holding on to is not ideal, nor is the perch in general, and I wish for a bit less of a head turn so that the beak is in profile. That said, I still like the image overall.

Nice! I like the perspective here. I like it overall...but the subject is just a bit big in the frame for my personal preference for small songbirds. I find the BTGW to be one of the most accommodating warbler species out there

Very nicely done Karl, and at 1/200 of a second you are brave, these little ones move fast and the slightest move at that shutter can take a image from us.

    Love everything about this one.

Very nice sharpness and colors. I dig the BGD too.
