Doing the Happy Dance! part 3

Photographed a few weeks ago while on Jim Neiger's boat during Jim's and James Shadle's BAA approved "Best of Florida" workshop.

    Why I like this image:
Flight image almost out in the open, with the reeds hinting its' environment.

    What I would change:
Bird is slightly flying away from me, and wish that the head was not going away. Also wish that the foreground OOF reeds did not distract so much with the head and body, causing all the green-cast blotches, and vertical stripes ... but at least it did not mess up the AF.

Many thanks to Jim Neiger & James Shadle, and also Hi! to fellow participants Ned, Rob & Jack, Fabs and Alfred. I had a BLAST ... it was so much fun!

Thank you for looking, and for all your tips for improvement & helpful comments.

Brian, excellent self-critique and I can see you made good used of your learning experience. When one can wee one's flaws in a picture, it's great, specially here, where you could not do anything about them :)

I agree with Fabs about your self-critique - those are the same comments I would have made. Still, a nice capture as you don't see these guys in flight all that often.
