Such a colorful thrush here, Rakesh. I like how the bird pops out from the dark BG. Perhaps a tighter crop to make the bird bigger in the frame?

Beautiful bird, BKGR, pose, EXP, and a lovely curved perch. The colors do remind me of the Varied Thrush of NA, a bird that I have seen briefly but never photographed.

What a beauty. I too would like to see this bird bigger in the frame and the vertical stick coming off the perch could go, it distracts my eye. Your settings reveal how difficult this image was to achieve and you really did well.

Rakesh, very well done on a bird thats hard to photograph. one of my favorite birds...brings back a lot of memories from childhood.

You have handled the metering very well. I am liking the dark BG as it shows the shady areas they like to hang out at. I also dont mind the bird small in frame....however, the impact of this image will be much more if you post a 1024-pixels-wide file.

Rakesh, your darker BG has worked to your advantage - it shows off the colours very well. The thrush is nice and sharp, and I like the hint of moss on the perch. I find the small twig URC ia a tad distracting.
