the pose and light are killer, but focus is not sharp. please include shutter speed too!

Rahul, agree with Arash...critical focus does not seem to be on the head...some selective sharpening can help. I like the composition and the pose with the talons and the raised tell is really awesome.... fine with wing blur.

Please make sure you post all the techs.

Though the toes might be a tad sharper than the eyes the head looks sharp enough to me.... And I love the raised tail and the pose. Great timing on the capture. The dried mud clumps with the whitish areas I could do without....

Love the pose and light...Could be a touch sharper for my taste. The NR done on the soil is a bit too strong and looks artificial. I would back off a touch...Nicely done

I really like the light. The position of the merlin is very unusual and I like the talons down and the head up. The ground isn't the prettiest to look at but it is reality. Well done,
