    I got this shot just as the sun was setting the Egret was in a good position.

    Camera Nikon D200 Lens Nikon 300mm 2.8 plus 1.4 TC from tripod
    Format RAW
    ISO 400
    Mode Aperture
    Exposure Comp + 2/3
    Shutter 750s at F5.6

    I like pose and opened beak...colors are pleasant too....

    Love the open beak, postion of wings and details. Nice job on the colors too.

    Lovely background and whites, wish for the full wing to be extended. Good placement in the frame, although it could go bit more right.

    Lovely image. I love the pastels in the sky the bird almost but not quite seems a part of the sky. I like this atypical wing pose.

    On my monitor the colors, even though nice as is, look a bit off. They don't look pink enough or bright enough. This may be or may be not for real(subjective). Perhaps a white balance adjustment? Otherwise this is a spectacular shot to my eye.
