Amazing details Ofer, love the shot. I guess the bird was walking, wish the foot was sharper but still love it!

Excellent Ofer - hard bird I have found to expose for, I usually blow the whites. The whites and blacks look fine here with nice detail.

That Mk 2 seems to have excellent IQ.

    Thanks guys,
Tom, if you'll expose manually you will never have any problem with the whites. Just expose in a way that the whites are OK and that's it - the blacks will look after themselves.....

I couldn't agree more with your comment about Manual exposure for the whites and the blacks will take care of themselves.. :) Great shot, wouldn't mind seeing one with the reflection... such great looking water there....

Wonderful image, lovely light. Maybe a tad tight in the frame.

Great IQ Ofer, and love the walking pose with the raised foot. Overall, well exposed, sharp, and the low perspective works well.

Ofer, stunning IQ as usual. terrific pose, shooting angle, BG and the ripples. Perfect bird and head angles. I love the white head of this species. exposure is spot on.

I dont know what the ISO was...wondering if you could have increased it to get more SS to freeze the foot.

Excellent detail and eye contact, Ofer. I like the slightly blurred foot as it shows the motion.

Love this Ofer, fantastic colours and soft light. The detail is also excellent ESP the white and blured foot adds nicely TFS

Now that is quite stunning. It's obvious why it is. If I could pick just one reason it's the "easy" sharpness of the image- nothing is forced. I would not change anything.
