    Wow Doug what a beauty you have here. I'm her in CT so please send em over. I love the colors and detail. The contrast is so pleasing. Great pose. TFS

    Doug:

    These guys are so striking, and rather skittish here. The flash certainly helped under challenging lighting conditions. Sharp and well exposed.

    I might try and tone down some of the very brightest areas in the background, and might try some subtle adjustments of the luminosity on the bird to reduce the flashed look. Its close, but could use a bit of tweaking.

    I would remove the 2nd catchlight.

    Doug, wonderful details and colors. I like that there is very little in between you and the bird...hard in this setting. well done.

    Its going to be hard to take this shot and not make it looked flashed....I agree with Randy's suggestions. Some tweaks can help and yes to the second catchlight removal.
