Before suggestions for improvement ( and they are encouraged) are made let me preface the conditions. I was photographing the juvenile who was positioned pretty well light wise and had the camera set to +1 due to my past experiences with juvis in trees. The adult unexpectedly swooped in and the young moved down the limb. His head was then almost in complete shade while dad's head and the youngs body was in direct sun. Please don't mention the steep angle. Eagles in general and juveniles in particular don't eat live food low to the ground and you have to take what they give you.

Hi Mike you did well with the exposure Birds in mixed light are not conducive to a high keeper ratio !!!!
I like the tight crop showing the action, both have a good head angle even the poor fish The adult's head looks a little strange which I'm sure its from the +1 exp Would try selecting the Juvi and making the eye more visible With the chosen exposure it should be easy Great action !!!!
Mike, this is a great up-close and personal image. The talons, the beaks, the focus of the eagles' energies -- we know these guys mean business, and we're practically sitting at their dinner table, thanks to you!
