    This Intermediate Egret settles on her nest as the sun slips over the horizon.

    Canon EOS 3, Canon 100-300 F5.6L, Natural light with fill flash, 1/60 F8, Tower/hide, Tripod.

    Very nice image, love the colors, but would like to see a little bit of canvas to the left of the bird to get him out of the center...:D

    Hi John Agree with Gus and can add try getting these in sun or shade The mixed light generally doesn't work well I now its a temptation This came up as good as could be expected I like the intense look and raised feathers !!!!

    Overall nice image. Agree with more canvas in front of bird. Agree with Al on optimal conditions, but sometimes you take what is presented and make the most of it.
