    Hi Richard, Really cool pose and nice rich colors, the BG is a bit distracting but I think the pose and colors of the bird is enough to hold the viewers attention.

    I was hoping someone would say that

    I will never forget that place (must go back), never say never, but I dont think many people will ever see one of these guys too much out of the BG mess if they will ever see one at all. I waited 4 hours on the first day and, although their calls were all around caught glimpses only of the birds. The second visit gave me the chance to grab this, and a fair number of shots, fortunately from tripod. I spoke to someone there who actually saw young birds being trained to call by the male - oh what a shot that would be.

    Richard, good pose and thx for the information. Some birds are hard to get against clean BG without setups/ calls/ hides...ideally a combination of all.

    I find the shot a little overprocessed for my taste.
