Taken this morning on a walk down to the Missouri shore park.

Shadow work, moderate crop to eliminate sky. Topaz Simplify with strong edge treatment for the foliage. Multiple layers of NIK tonal contrast to achieve a grungy look to the road. Final pass with High Pass filter treatment to give the road a wet look......

    Hope you like it..........

Another wonderful composition, Jay. I like the mood created by the rays filtering through the trees... the wet road adds a lot to the image. I just wish the poles and the wire did not exist but does not take much away from the overall mood of the image. Excellent processing.

I like the tones and colors and the sun rays. Nice processing all around!

Thanks everybody, I appreciate the feedback. Not sure about the telephone poles..........will think on that some more.

Well done. As a devote of leading lines, I feel a slight crop off the bottom would have the left road line come directly from the corner and not detract at all. My take. I tend to agree about the pole. It does nothing to enhance the image

Jay, I really love this one! Awesome mood and the street came out great. The rays of light are cool and so are the colors. I do wish there was a tiny bit more room on top.
