She is on freshly laid eggs and is rejecting the male's offerings. Poor guy kept trying all night to no avail.

    Grace:

This is lovely. Excellent shooting angle, just the right amount of foreground, good head angles, prey, wing position, colors in the rocks matching birds.

My only wish would be to smooth out the very upper background a bit more to reduce the impact that area has.

OK, one more tiny one, a bit more room on right

    I like it!

    Cheers

Thank you Randy for your observations. I can smooth out that top part, or even crop a bit from it, what do you think? (If I do that, I'll crop a bit from the right side too). I'll look at my original for more room on the left, but I recall it being nearly full frame.

Awesome behaviour shot!!! Excellent light, colours, sharpness and detail! Here is a quick repost with very slight crop and selectively applying LENS BLUR to the BG as I feel the BG as presented weakens this otherwise wonderful image.

Ofer, I like the crop and blur you presented here.

Grace, what a great capture! This image really tells a story and has lots of added bonuses like the food item, upturned wings, and open bill.

Wonderful image Grace. I like the stones as opposed to the sand we have on the south shore.

Thanks, Ofer. Appreciate not only you taking the time, but telling me how you did it. Looks great.

Thanks, Joe and James for your comments.

Excellent image, and Ofer has addressed my main concern. Well done, and love the great low angle as well as the perfect techs.

Great one Grace! I like everything about it but the perfect light puts it over the edge!
