    Nice Hippo Head-on look. I like the open mouth and the water on the chin.

    For me this is too tight, especially on the top and bottom. I feel it needs a CW rotation and some more sharpening.

    I like the pose and the slightly wild eye but I agree with Robert that a bit more room and a slight rotation would have improved it. Some extra sharpening would be in order, especially on those rather interesting eyes. TFS

    Thanks for the comments. Unfortunately no space at the bottom, at the top also very little canvas. It was a mock charge and the hippo was about 20 m from me. I had no chance to change to the 100-400. He stopped at the edge of the water and then wandered away.
