    Default Tug-O-War

This is the other from the series , one of which I posted yesterday titled"Hey,Give It Up". As stated before , neither one wanted to give this needle fish up , thus the tug of war between them. Interesting behavior to observe and photograph.

    Techs same as yesterdays post.

Love the crop, the story and the action. I like the oof blades of grass too.
I initially thought it could use some CW rotation but now like it like this with the eyes [almost] lined up.
I see distinct halos around both birds (especially the heads). A little more room on the left, to match the amount on the right would be nice too.
Nice interaction. Would love to see this 1024 px wide. TFS.

PS: love the comp with the pano crop

Nice interaction. I like the pano crop, and prefer the placement of the darker grasses above the left bird in this image than the previous. A bit aggressive on the sharpening as evidenced by the thin halos above the two heads.

I think the halos are from the jpg compression as they were there before I did any sharpening at all???? Any way to avoid this would be helpfull. This seems to happen to me often.

I like the action and habitat in this image. Well done Joe. I will have to look at your other post of this pair as well.

Excellent action image, Joe. The catchlights in the eyes draw me right in. Good job getting this behavior.
