I used Clean, then converted to B&W. Tonal work with Nik's software. Small crop. Still posting warmer than I intended.

    Hope you like it.

    Comments welcome.................

I love everything about this. The mood and feel that it conveys is very calm and peaceful. If I had to pick one thing to comment on, and this is just my initial reaction, it is the small bright spot (I'm guessing the sun through the fog) pulls my eye a bit to that area. I am far from an expert so please take this as just an obsrvation on my part. Love it, the B&W is perect and would love to see the cooler version.

Very nice image and application, Jay.

Like the effect of the fog with the sun penetration. It does pull you into the image, but that and the fence work well.

I will say that I like the fact that the first post is black in this one. That is what I was referring to in the others. Just a tad of a tweak and it addes to the vision. But nice images all around.

This is what you wish to see in the Smokys, rather than the taillights of the preceding vehicles.

Dave, Thanks. I have a love/hate thing about the sun, for the exact reason you mentioned. I did tone it down, just not to the point of extraction. It's what drew me to the image in the first place, so I left it in..........I'm open for other options.

This is excellent, Jay. Love the composition with the road bending at the end. The tree and the overall mode is awesome. Nicely processed for the repost...

Jay, love everything about this comp. Much prefer the original post though.

Very cool image, I too, like the original post for the tree contrast.
It looks like your photo is melting.
    Nice work.

Jay, Something different and I like it a lot. I'm on the fence between the two. Nice subtle look and mood.
