Nick like the upright wings and the skimming the surface. I feel that the bird is a bit to small in the frame. If this is not a big crop, try get in closer TFS

Nick, liked the wing position and skimming behavior. Bird is small in frame and at this size, it is difficult to comment on the IQ. Nice light.

Nick, well exposed, as the eye is nice and clear, and good to capture the wings in the upright position. I have a hunch this needs a slight CCW rotation.

I like the bird's size in the frame - but I agree the image is very small as posted. I'd like a tad more room above, and I agree with Stuart for the need for some CCW rotation.

P.S. Good exposure, and looks like we can see a bit of the breeding plumage yellows close to the "armpit"!

Thanks guys. Very slight crop to take a bit off the top so almost full frame. Working on full frame (or very close) images, so crop wouldn't be a problem on this. That CCW rotation I still don't see but will play with it. Thanks again!

Sweet light and wing position. I too feel it needs a slight CCW rotation as it seems the water is running downhill from left to right.
