    Default Oyster Catcher with Breakfast

Shot this OC today with what looks like a mollusk innard of some type. PP consisted of sharpening, levels adj., + saturation, cropping and I replaced color of BG with deeper shade of blue. NR was also applied via Noiseware. Critiques most welcome, always looking to improve. Thanks.

Nice angle in the flight shot. I might back the saturation down a bit as the eye and bill look too bright, but that's not an AZ bird so I'm not that familiar with it. And might try another round of sharpening as well.

Hi Al. I like the exposure here. I've tried to practice on Magpies and Ravens in winter with less than stellar results. Is there a little blown white in the tail? Maybe just my monitor.
What did your sharpening consist of?
    Thanks

    Al,

How much cropping did you do? The shot lost some details either from heavy crop + NR.
Did you apply NR on the entire shot?
Exposure wise, I would brighten it a bit to get more details out of the blacks.

    Great moment captured.
