    This shot was taken early May when most of the foliage was not out yet.

    Hi Karl,
    Another nice shot from you. I like the diagonal line and the BG is lovely. I like the little stray "hair" at the top of his head! Beautiful eye and nice HA. Only one minor nit and that would be for a nicer perch (at the top end). TFS

    Karl, nice BG and bird angle. The light angle has brought out lots of details and no shadows to distract. very good DOF coverage.

    Karl,

    Well done all around as mentioned above. One thing that I would like to change is the clipping of the branches "Y" intersection in the lower left. More of it would be preferred or crop out completely (that may make the bird too tight). Cloning is an option if that is something you do.
