    The least terns have set up shop on my local beach. Thanks for your comments.

    Michael,

    Pleasing environment you captured them in. Since this is local, keep returning and looking to get them situated in a clear patch of sand. Of course when you get something like this, make that image. :)

    I would try another round of sharpening here as well as a crop from the top - more of a pano look to accentuate the birds.

    Good suggestions but watch the crop from the top as you don't want to cut off the top of the one tall grass behind the male. .. You also need to watch the head angles; both birds are turned away from us.

    I was concerned with that too Artie when I made the suggestion. I do like the more intimate feel of a tighter crop here but do agree that cutting the grasses is an issue.

    Nice behavior caught. Image seems a bit flat , perhaps due to poor light.
