    Greetings. Caught this Anna's in the shadows, backlit & exposed for bg... Overhauled color & lighting with LAB curves, no flash...

    D3 200f2+TC20EIII (400mm) 1/1600 @ f/5.6 ISO800, -0.67EV (er, supposed to be in the light ), no flash, HH, cropped to about 60% remaining
    Substantial LAB curves for tone, Topaz InFocus (slight adjustment), sharpening

    Michael, caught at the perfect moment,I've never been able to catch one in this pose. On my monitor it looks a bit soft and faded . . .

    Hi Michael, the bird looks a little dark but I like the pose and the background. The head looks pretty

    sharp for hh and no flash. I like the subtle colors in this one.

    Lovely pose and flowers. It looks like your critical focus was on the pinkish throat feathers as the head is a bit soft. I like the wing blur and the Bg. Overall a good shot.

    I like it, a bit more contrast would help I think as it is a bit flat to me.
    Nice pose.
