    Default Brittany B&B

Two years ago we stayed at this old manorhouse in Brittany. It is owned by this very nice couple who were as charming as their B&B. They maintained meticulous gardens and I had fun one morning just photographing their property.
Used PB and Topaz to get the effect

I love the composition and colors! The PB effect works well here.

    Dave,

Really like the effect. The stairs provide a nice path into the image. I'm not sure about cutting the left side of the building at edge of the frame..........I'm no expert on landscape comp.

the leading line of the steps brings you to an inviting place. the treatment is wonderful and I also agree that it would be nice to have some space on the left side of the building. Excellent treatment.

Another wonderful image, Dave. I like the use of PB here with painting like effect. These are really coming out nice.

Dave, wonderful pixel bending filtering for this one. Love the colors. I am a little bothered by the white sky in the upper left and for an alternate comp I kinda like a square crop, eliminating the left most upper window and the small white light along the pathway, but then on the downside you lose some of those beautiful red blossoms.
