    Default After the Storm

    I was treated to some dramatic weather while in the Smoky Mountains. This scene was taken just after a Tornado warning.
    I opted for more stylized version of the scene. Started with Clean, then PB for effect.
    I converted to B/W, did some tonal balancing to taste. Better than color, the black and white felt more dramatic and closer to being there............The the transfer to the forum resulted in a bit warmer of an image, than on my screen at home.

    Jay, You have such a great eye. I love the filtering and the dramatic look of the image. What I like most are all the diagonal lines. The trees look like flames. Fantastic!

    Jay, this is a beautiful composition. I love the intersecting slopes with the light and shadow play. I agree b&w did bring out the tonal quality of the image in addition to your use of the filter. Nicely done.
