    Default Osprey with fish

I like this picture because the osprey has the whole fish in his talons. Usually, the fish is half-eaten.

I used fill content aware for the first time for a branch in the left lower corner. I am quite impressed

Gail, nice shot. I like the pose and exposure. I would clone out the two branches on the lower right hand side.

WOW! That's a BIG fish!!! Very nice shot! Maybe some more room on the sides to make this a standrd horizontal.

Good eye contact Gail, and that is a large fish. I like the wingspan and underwing detail, and agree to adding a touch to the RHS.

    Hi Gail,

Nice shot and wing spread. Did you take this with the 500mm/f4? I would like to see a bit more space on both sides of the osprey. It looks like the eye membranes are partly closed, or is it just a reflection.
Your next PS technique should be "Quick Masks". Very easy and helpful to get rid of unwanted distracting elements.

    Hi Clemens,
I used the 100-400 for this picture. I checked the eyes and it is the reflection-not the nicticating membrane.
I have just spent the past few days transferring my pictures from my PC to my Apple. I will return to my study of PS shortly!!

Excellent shot Gail, amazing pose. I am confused about your statement regarding the nictitating membrane, to my eyes the membrane is closed (not a big deal IMO). Can you please post a 100% crop, I might be wrong but I am, interested to see if this is a reflection.
