    Quite a common species but one I've found hard to get a good shot of. The plant is an introduced weed and I'm not quite sure what the bird was feeding on.

    Canon 5D 600mm f4 L (non IS) + 1.4TC iso 400 1/800th f9.0 CW metering at +0 tripod mounted
    Photoshop- slight sharpen and clone out of leaf on LHS

    Nice light and colours. Sharpenss and detail look excellent. I feel this image will work nicely as a tight vertical with more room at the bottom.

    Very nice. I like the BG. beautiful light. Would love to see it as a vertical. Perch is very nice

    Nice image Paul. I too would consider a vertical comp. A lovley species this and you have caught a nice specimen here.

    Superb bird, bg and perch. I love the light and sharpness/details.
    I too would consider a vertical, but do love it as presented. Very nicely done.
