    Default Coppersmith Barbet

I had taken this shot almost a year back. Just thought of re-processing the image. Comments and Suggestions are welcome.

Real nice shot. Great background, and real nice pose. To me it just looks a tad over sharpened. Other than that well done.

Somak, you had a ncie setting here with the distant BG and nice perch.

However, there are a number of issues here. To me, looks like your orig shot had some camera & subject shake and you've oversharpened it. Vertical composition would have been much better. As-is, there is too much negative space on one side. I also see some post processing artifacts.

With such a good camera, I'd have shot this at higher ISO to get better shutter speed.

Kaustubh, thanks for your suggestions. There is indeed camera shake and that is because this one is a handheld shot. The bird being high above the eye line I find it difficult to keep my hands steady. Also, I had to clone out a lot of disturbing twigs. Hence I have those PP issues. I am missing a tripod badly and should get one soon.
