I'm having trouble with this one.................. I posted the original on the Landscape forum, which was a bit premature in hindsight, then did some light balancing and PB work just for fun for posting here in OOTB. Still not sure this is working.........

    Any ideas?

    Thanks for the look.............

    Nice image and application, Jay.

I have a few thoughts on if it were mine ... for your consideration, as you desire...

I don't know if you cut off the tree, but it would be nice to have shown the whole tree on the left border, with a little open area. But that said ...

I would go into Image / Adjustments / Select Color and adjust the tones using the Black, Neutral and White adjustments. I think you could make this pop a little more and maybe find your vision.

I also might consider cropping the Right border a little, to have the road edge enter the image at the lower right corner of the frame.

I'll leave some room for comments from others.

I do like the image and the effect. Just needs a little tweaking in my view.

I don't think I can be much help. I like the softness of the image---a lovely feel

Jay, I really like the dreamy quality of the image. I'd like to see more of the road on the LHS so that it's not cut off. So as Mark said a little more room on the left would help.

Hi Jay, I like the dreamy quality of the image but I wouldn't have cut the road since it's currently taking the viewer out of the image. The foreground is done well with the fence adding strength to the LL.

Hi Jay, love the PB application here and the B&W. Agree with Dave on the road being cut off. I like where you placed the dip in the road and the fence is perfect, just wish it was a little wider view.

Jay, I love the fence and the tree. The soft fog look is lovely. Cheryl made a good point regarding the road but I do still love the image.

Andrew, Denise, thanks for the kind words. I think, I got a little too focussed on the tree and the fence placement in the frame and was trying to avoid cutting a tree on the left...........simply missed the significance of the road cutoff.

Trying to save this image.........I did some hand of man changes. The road is still clipped, but I think this may help. Will keep working on it.

    Hey Jay,
Repost is a nice improvement! I wonder if you can bring up the leaves in the trees a bit more to give a bit more contrast? Not too much as it will eliminate the wonderful mood.

SEcond post improves the image. I'm most impressed with your "hand of man" work.
