Default Payback - Baby Snail Kite Attacks Limpkin

I saw this Limpkin attack one of the recently fledged baby Snail Kites earlier in the day. Later, when I saw the baby kite take off and fly towards the Limpkin, I knew he was after payback. Unfortunately the lighting and angle were far from ideal.

Great timing with wonderful wing positions on both birds. I love the defensive judo kick of the Limpkin. Nice capture.

Lovely behaviour captured! IQ is not great though.

Agree with Ofer here. It looks over-sharpened. Great moment captured. TFS.

Lighting and angle weren't ideal, IQ isn't great, but you know what, I'm drawn to the image. It tells a story. The birds aren't touching each other, which is also good.

    Jim,
The interaction is amazing. I love it. A picture with a great story and great action. I still see many pictures through a beginner's eye and the light doesn't detract for me,
    Gail
