This is a fun technique, but I'd hate to admit to the number of hours I've spent playing around with it

Hopefully not on the company computer!!!

    Nice image and application, Maureen.

I might consider a minor crop on the bottom to bring the "floor lines" into the corners of the image. But that is just a minor comment. It is a nice image as is.

I love it! I may just have to do some 'playing around' too

Wonderful concept, when I first looked at it I thought it was one image flipped, now i see it is two individual pictures good work. The texture and lighting on the ceiling really adds to the composition.

I much prefer the position of the left-hand bird in the frame to that of the right hand bird....

    Thanks for the comments

Artie, I'm not particularly thrilled with the position of bird on the right either. IF I ever redid this, I would choose a more dynamic image.

It's a fun technique and the link Christopher provided is a great photoshop tutorial.

Very nice composition, Maureen. I like the concept and I think you did excellent processing. TFS.

Maureen, this is a really interesting comp. It does look like the images are hanging in a gallery!

Maureen, Great OOTB thinking for this one. The drop shadows are a nice touch. The final result was worth the effort!

Thanks for commenting, everyone. I see a lot of really interesting possibilities for this technique and have some ideas of things I'd like to try one of these days

Very creative Maureen! It looks like these two were tired of hanging on the wall in the gallery and decided to make a break for it. I have only tried this technique once and wasn't too happy with what I got, but this inspires me to revisit the concept. Very nice!
