We called out a Barred Owl in the fading light of an evening during my Florida visit. What was nice about the encounter was that the owl was on a clean perch against a relatively distant BG. I wanted to capture the action but was forced to go with ISO 3200 in order to get some decent shutter speed.

) Great timing Doug, and a great result with that ISO. Comp works well with lots of space for the owl to fly into, and also separated nicely from the BG. Very well captured.
