    Really like the image. Nice sharpness and head angle. Believe it would look well in a more square format leaving off the lower wood (plank or log?) entirely or just leaving the upper border. Have also found a kayak and 500mm are a great combination.

    Nice shot. I too think this would work better with the bottom log cropped out. I have yet to get one of these in my sights...

    Thanks for the comments! I agree that cropping out some of the dead space on the bottom will help the composition.

    I like the dark BG and the IQ is not too bad with the 2x...i wouls also crop out, or clone out the bottom stump!

    You have a nice pose and BG here. That said, the bottom stump/wood I find takes away from your subject.
