Very nice, very clean, good details. A few too many hightlights for me. I love these guys.

Nice pose and well composed, godd sharpness and details. I like the perch and BG. Not easy to shot these with a nice clean BG.

Hi Carel. Nice pose, DOF, comp, and background. All the specular highlights on the wings are somewhat distracting as they draw my eye - but there's not much you can do about them. A slightly different shooting angle in the field might help, but it could also detract from your head-to-tail sharpness. The little hairs around the head and thorax have an oversharpened look to my eye - you might try some different sharpening settings to see if they help.

    Hey Carel,
Besides the suggestions by Steve above.....I might go for a touch more light on the body and eye. All in all easy tweaks to a very well composed image!

Very nice, Carel. I can't really add anything to what has been said above. TFS.
