    Default Sandgrouse take-off

I like the head angle. Used quick mask in PS to add water at the bottom left, had to cover a rock in the FG.

Excellent timing Vivaldo, with a good take off pose and HA. I do like the trailing droplets, open beak, together with the complimentary BG. Im amazed your ss didnt freeze the wings.

Good timing on your part, and good action. I like the open bill and flying water drops. Good HA as you mention. I'd prefer a better wing position, especially the near wing, and I can see some post-processing artefacts just above your signature.

Vivaldo, terrific action with all those droplets. loved the low shooting angle....its quite hard to do action photography in that lying-down position. excellent view of the leg. very good techs.

Very nice shot, and good timing as from what i have seen on TV, these things take-off like if someone spiked their backside

One question, are the sandgrouse faces that colour naturally or have you adjusted it in someway? Looks a bit HDR'ish!!

Txs all for comments. The colours on this grouse are exact. With the nacked eye it is always difficult to observe the precise colous cause the birds are so small. Look through a good pair of binocs and the colours pop out.

You are right about the great HA here. Love the water droplets and light as well, and the movement in the wings. You did well with your QM techniques b/c I would not have known had you not divulged your PS work.
