    Made the picture last autumn in the Loro Parque / Tenerife.
    There are only few opportunities to make pleasing images.
    The Palm Cockatoo was playing with and feeding on some conifer branches and sometimes he was in full sun, while the BG was in the shadow.

    The image is made with the Mark III / Canon 100-400
    f 5.6 / 1 / 400 sec. / ISO 800

    Love it Rosl Has the feel of the old Cybachrome images !!! Neat Did well with the harsh light and came up with a good image !!!!

    You certainly post some interesting birds. I love that black BG and the stick is a little treat. I think it looks good given the harsh light. Maybe a little more DOF for just a little more sharpness on the shoulder. Well done.
