Default Think Tank Streetwalker Hard Drive and RJ-145 Regional jet

    Hi,

I have a Thinktank Streetwalker Hard Drive camera backback, external dimensions 8.5 x 11.5 x 19in. I'm going to Costa Rica in the Fall. The first leg of my trip involves a Continental Express Regional RJ-145 jet. There is no info. on their website about taking this otherwise legal sized backpack on this type of aircraft, but I know from past experience that the overhead bin and the under the seat space are both pretty small. Does anyone know if I can take this bag on board, or whether they will want to gate check it - and if the latter, is it safe?

    Thanks,

    Richard

I have a ThinkTank Airport Antidote, which I bought because they say it fits in an RJ: "With the laptop case removed, it will fit into the overhead of all planes INCLUDING small CRJ planes." The exterior dimensions are 17 x 11.75 x 7.
