Made this Image at Kabini WLS some time back, This male leopard was first lying down when we spotted him, then he suddenly got up and started stalking a group of spotted deer and cross right in front our Jeep.

    1/500, F4, ISO 800.

    Excellent portrait Kiran.

He looks so focused. I am not expert of details but to my eyes this looks a winner.

I am surely going to visit Kabini on my next trip to India :-)

awesome details, focused stare and gorgeous BG

Super image, great detail, good composition. Agree with Morkel on the magenta cast, visible in the BG patches...

If I could put an animal like this in a studio, I'd chose a background such as this. I love the colours and tones and softness of it, uncluttered but not uninteresting and sets off the colour and markings of the leopard so well. IQ excellent as always, and the profile view works here very nicely.
    Agree with the slight cast.

I'm interested … was he walking when you made this or had he stopped?

Thanks Bhai... I have reduced the cast already, if I reduce further the leopard looks green.

Will post it a little later.
