    Default Least Sandpipers

    Hi

This seemed to beg to be a pano crop, so I hope I made the right choice.

The birds were actively feeding at the shoreline, and as been said, rapidly drill the sand so I had a long wait to capture them. Lay on the beach; to the amusement of some tourists nearby, and waited forever.

Very interesting comp Richard, this is one of your absolute best that I've seen. For me the only small improvement would have been separation of the two birds.

Richard, this is a great image! I agree with Geoff, some separation between the two birds, would have made it outstanding. Thanks for posting!

Thanks for entertaining the tourists because I really like the results! More separation would be good, but I would like to have credit for this shot. The pano aspect makes the shot.

I like what you are trying to do here but the two birds I think need to be in better positions.

So now the tough choices begin! I like the separation here but it's a shame that the front fellas eye has fallen into shadow.

Had a quick go at fixing that, probably why I used the other shot as the eyes usually have it

Quick effort here, with more time can do more
