Nice in-flight capture. Like the diagonal and the illuminated details. Nice BG too. well done.
Chris, great light and I liked your choice of crop. Terrific underwing details and BG. beautiful bird....red and grey combination is superb.
Some whites look a little hot and the bill area looks a tad oversharpened.
Nice capture! I like the bird angle, under-wing detail, lighting.
I love this species, the soft light, the pose, and the killer underwing detail. Way to go. A bit of bill clean-up on the master file would work well if that works for you. In a similar vein you might wish to lose the light area along the top left.

Looks good to me, but I'd fill in the whitish area ULC, as per Artie, and perhaps also lightly lighten the dark area below the bill. I love the vertical comp...good job!

excellent bank pose light BG and details

Great wing position and light...Making that MK4 sing mate!
beautiful image, nice light and details here.. the repost works well...
Great wingspread Chris, with oodles of detail. Comp works well, and the gull stands out nicely against the darker BG. Was this at Bonero Park?
Thanks for all the comments. everyone........ Stu this were at the golf course side there is not allot going on at Bonaero at the moment due to all the rains the water level is to high for the gulls to breed. Lots of Ibis though.
