Very nice capture, Sir! I really like the BG. You handled the exposure with the back light nicely, it highlights the bird! A better HA would be good, but? The perch is a bit large, but it is what it is! I like the fungi on it! I kind of wish that there was more room on the right and I would clone out or tone down the white bird poo on the left of the perch if this were mine! Good work!

Neat bird, I like the long thin posture. Details look good, and you have a nice green BG. The perch is OK too, but I agree in cleaning up the whitewash. I have to admit I'm not crazy about the fungi though. HA would have been better at least parallel to the sensor. The backlighting doesn't look too bad, but some fill-flash would have helped alot (depending on the look you were going for).

Though I agree with most of the excellent comments above I do like the fungi. All rim-let areas are over-exposed and detail-less, at least in the JPEG. Best would be to set a darker exposure to prevent blinkies and flash the shaded side of the bird....

Rakesh, excellent critiques above. I do like the fungi but it has made the composition challenging. You definitely need more room behind the bird. I liked the backlight...excellent details and BG.
