Is this image good enough to tell this story?

    Great shot and story.

If the shot can handle it I would crop a little off the right side and maybe a bit off the top. I agree with the NR suggestions.

Terrific shot. I'm not often a fan of OOF birds in the BG, but this one tells the story very nicely. Lovely lighting and sharpness on the forward duckie, and beautiful colors. Ditto the above re. NR and a tad off the right if it can be done without hurting the IQ. Well done.

I agree. It tells the story well. I also agree with Bill's suggestions.

I am glad that this picture tells the story well.
I tried some NR in the BG and FG, and removed part of the right side. Did it from scratch, so there are a couple of other small differences from the OP here. Thanks again

Great capture! Repost does the trick for me. The OOF "loser" does help tell the story for me.

Very nice Enrique! Super color and sharpness and the story is told quite nicely. Major cuteness factor as well! The repost is nice with the extra light and different crop. Well done, thanks for sharing.

I think the ducklings look great and I love the story.
It looks too saturated on my monitor, way too green, I would tone it down.

Too saturated? Perhaps this is due to choosing "daylight" for white balancing in ACR, instead of "as shot" ...

Here is a version "as shot" and done from scratch, again...

    Thanks!

It has been a good exercise for me.
Maybe convert using "as shot" and give it a bit more saturation in PS? Somewhere in between pane # 7 and # 11 with respect to saturation?

Enrique, I thought your repost in pane 7 was just fine. Nothing wrong with the saturation and I would guess that this is very true to the scene. Pane 11 looks washed out to me.

Thanks Kerry. Glad to know you agree with my initial judgment regarding color saturation. Pane 11 looks a bit washed out to me also. This exercise will help me make judgments in future situations...
