    Amish farm near my house.

I used a single image that I processed from RAW twice with different settings; combined them in PS using masks to show what I wanted from each. I then applied the Topaz Adjust HDR filter with adjustments, and did basic adjustments. Some rotation and crop.

    Anita,

I like the mood here created with the "warmth" of the setting sun leaving behind the "cold" landscape. Very creative use of the HDR filter. Well done.

I agree, Anita, I like how you enhanced the warm & cold contrast between the landscape and sky, nice capture and creative composition. Wonderful as is, but just curious if you added some light in one of the windows, if that would add interest.

Nice processing Anita! It does have an HDR feel to it. I like the cool tones of the shaded areas, really makes it look cold.

Anita, Very interesting effect you achieved. I love the cool tones mixed with the warm sky. Nicely done. I 'd love to see the image after you add some light to one or two of the windows-great suggestion by Brendan.

I followed the suggestion to add light to some windows. What do you think? More? Less? As always, a big thanks for all comments and suggestions.

Anita, The light in the windows really make that building stand out more!

Thanks. I put lights only in the house, not the outbuildings.

Anita, this is really nice. Reminds me so much of winter in rural Indiana where I grew up! Super use of filters and masks and the light in the windows really gives it a "homey" feel. I can imagine the people inside getting ready for dinner. Very pretty.
