    Default Hovering Anna!

This is from earlier in the evening... this Anna's was hovering over a hummingbird sage brush. I took number of images as it tried to extract nectar from the flowers. For processing, I used multiple layers with masks for Topaz Simplify and Fractalius. I changed the opacity for the layers as well as opened up the underlying layers to get the effect. Applied usm on the final web version. Hope you like it...

Looks like a fighter coming in for a landing!

    Nice image and application, Indranil.

Super cute Indranil and I like the softness that the filter added. Color tones are lovely.

    Indranil,

This is one of my favorites of yours. I don't believe I have ever seen a hummingbird taken from this angle. Love the softness and simplicity added by the effects. Beautifully done.

Very nice composition, Indranil! I agree, that is a very unique hummer pose you captured. Very tasteful application of Topaz & Frac. Well done!

I've never seen a hummer photographed form that angle either, very unique perspective. I like the processing, soft but retaining detail in the bird.

Thanks all; appreciate it a lot. It is an unusual pose. I myself was surprised to see that I had a frame like that!
