    I took this image at the St. Augustine Alligator Farm this year. Slight crop, NR, USM. I also selectively blurred some of the blotchy areas in the bg. I was with a small class that Artie was leading. Comments and suggestions appreciated.
    Canon 7D, 70-200Lf/4, 1.4EX, f/8, 1/1250, ISO 400. Handheld

    It's gorgeous Cheryl!! Excellent job on the whites, and the background offsets it nicely. I like the comp, HA and eye contact. No nits on this one. It deserves a spot on the wall.

    Hi Cheryl, it's me... Snowies are my faves! I would bet that you could find more feather detail in the raw version if you used a bit of recovery. Otherwise, nice capture, head angle, and background! Tough job handling the whites in this condition.
