    This image was captured during the early morning light. I used a rowboat to gently direct the loon to the background and lighting I desired. I wanted to have the sun at my back and the calm waters with the colorful background behind the loon. This was captured with my EOS 20D and my Canon 100-400 IS Lens. I would appreciate any feedback or suggestions you could offer. Thanks!

    Nice habitat pict and the calm waters are nice
    a bit over sat for my taste and the eye needs a bit of work

    Great setting and nice details. It would have been great if the head were pointed a bit more toward you.

    Beautiful loon image, Gary! I like how you were able to manipulate yourself and the duck in order to fulfill the vision you had for the image!
